TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Definitions
a Basket: refers to the baskets and other products supplied by Babiesbaskets Ltd to the Customer;
the Customer: means the customer who buys the Basket;
Babiesbaskets Ltd: means Babiesbaskets.com, Partners Mrs S J Daga and Miss M C Bunce whose principal place of business is at Unit D5, Seedbed Centre, Langston Road, Loughton, Essex, IG10 3TQ.
Making the contract
Your order is an offer by you which we will accept by sending you an email confirming the order you have placed.
Payment
We accept all major credit/debit cards via a secure server. Alternatively you can download an order form from our website.
If you would prefer not to order via our website, please call us on 020 8504 2277 where a member of our team will be happy to take your order.
Cheques should be made payable to Babiesbaskets.com. Baskets paid for by cheque will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared.
All prices quoted include VAT.
If the credit card details you enter are queried by your credit card company or yourself, for example because they are inaccurate, babiesbaskets may be charged an administration fee by Worldpay of £20.00. We will pass any such fee on to you and it will be automatically deducted from your credit card.
Delivery
Babiesbaskets will endeavour to ensure that (in respect of orders within the UK only) all Baskets are received by the Customer within two working days of dispatch by Babiesbaskets.
Orders received after 2.00 p.m. will not be dispatched until the following day and any orders received after 2.00 p.m. on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday.
If you would like to send a Basket outside of the UK, please telephone or email us for a quote for postage and packaging.
Stock Availability
Babiesbaskets try as far as is possible to maintain stock levels, but because many of our products are hand made, from time to time certain products may be unavailable. In such a case we will replace the out of stock item with something similar of the same or of greater value.
Returns
The Customer may cancel this agreement by notifying Babiesbaskets in writing within 7 working days after the day of delivery and returning the Basket at the Customer’s own cost. On receipt of the basket, unused and in its original packaging a full refund will be offered. This right must be exercised by the Customer and not the recipient of the Basket.
The Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the Basket if Babiesbaskets has not been notified of any defect in the Basket within 7 working days of delivery.
For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Babiesbaskets cannot be held responsible for returned goods that fail to reach us.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our website or the service you have received then we would like to hear from you. All contact details can be found on our Contact Us page, as we feel customer service is very important.
Ordering
As soon as an order is confirmed, the Buyer is deemed to have agreed to, and is bound by, these Terms.
Privacy
We care about your privacy and the security of your personal information. Babiesbaskets will endeavour always to comply with our privacy policy www.dataprotection.gov.uk.
Limitation of Liability
Babiesbaskets shall not be liable for loss, damage, deterioration, wear or expense arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the following:
minor variations in colour, texture, shade and/or general appearance from that shown on our website;
delay(s) of less than 6 weeks beyond the date of delivery
any other circumstances over which Babiesbaskets had no control of the consequences and which Babiesbaskets could not avoid by the exercise of reasonable care.
If Babiesbaskets is prevented from carrying out its obligations to the Customer by a cause beyond its reasonable control, including fire, flood, storm, failures of sub-contractors or transport, industrial action or acts of God, Babiesbaskets shall not be liable for any failure or delay. However Babiesbaskets will try to find alternative ways of performing the contract where possible.
Babiesbaskets shall not be liable to the Customer for any indirect or unforeseeable loss suffered or incurred by the Customer or others.

The contents of this website (including all text and artwork) are protected by copyright. You may view or download any part of parts of this site for private purposes but you are not permitted, without our permission, to:
store this site, or any part of this site, for purposes other than those set out in this paragraph.

Law
Any contract to which these Conditions apply (and these Conditions) shall be governed by the laws of England and Babiesbaskets Ltd and the Customer submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
NOTHING IN THESE CONDITIONS SHALL AFFECT THE STATUTORY RIGHTS OF THE CUSTOMER.
